This Privacy Policy describes how Strength Train LLC, doing business as Starting Strength Gyms ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from store.startingstrengthgyms.com (the "Site").

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you make a purchase or attempt to make one, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment card information. We call this Order Information. When you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your IP address, browser, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages and products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We call this Device Information. It's collected using:

• Cookies: small data files placed on your device. The Site uses cookies set by Shopify to operate the store (cart, checkout, session) and to analyze site performance.
• Log files and web beacons: standard tracking of site actions and page views.

We use Order Information to fulfill orders (process payment, arrange shipping, send invoices and order confirmations), communicate with you, screen orders for fraud, and, where consistent with your preferences, send you information about our products. We use Device Information to help screen for fraud and to understand and improve how customers use the Site.

Who We Share It With

We share personal information with service providers who help us operate the store:

• Payment processors, who handle your card information to process transactions. We never see or store your full card number.
• Our fulfillment partner, who receives your name and shipping address to pack and ship your order.
• Shipping carriers, who receive your name and address to deliver your order.

• Google LLC (Google Analytics / Google Ads), which may receive browsing data to help us understand how the Site is used. See policies.google.com/privacy.

We also share personal information when required to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests such as a subpoena or search warrant, or protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your Privacy Rights

• ask us to correct or delete your personal information,
• opt out of targeted advertising, and
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We'll verify your identity using the email address associated with your order and respond within the time required by your state's law. We honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) sent by your browser.

Data Retention

We keep Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, except where we're required to retain it (for example, tax and accounting records).

Children

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
